Dominion Road’s pothole party is finally over. As much as we all loved the state of disprepair of Dominion Road, all good things must end.

The Dominion Road Construction Project – Dominion Road Trenchless Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation – aims to improve the sewer drainage system, with the knock on effect of filling in the potholes, fingers crossed.

The upshot of all this is that there will be temporary changes to the Fort Erie Transit Schedule. To keep riders on time and the buses in good repair, the FETransit will be detouring along the WEST route. Buses will depart from the regular routing from/ to Buffalo Road along Nigh Road, Stonemill Road, Thunder Bay Rd and Prospect Point Road to/from Dominion Road.

Effective April 16, 2018, no bus stop service will be provided at the following stops:

(BUS 1) WEST Route Outbound #20: To Crystal Beach – Bus Stops # 104 / 105 / 106 / 201 / 300 / 301 To Municipal Hub – Bus Stops #226 / 227 / 46 / 47

(BUS 2) WEST Route Outbound #21: To Crystal Beach – Bus Stops # 104 / 105 / 106 / 201 To Municipal Hub – Bus Stops # 224 / 225 / 226 / 227 / 46 / 47
